Contact Us

Have questions, feedback, or suggestions? We'd love to hear from you. Since RSS Feed Reader is a local-first application, most issues can be resolved without contacting us—but we're here to help when needed.

Common Questions

Before reaching out, check if your question is answered below:

My feeds aren't updating

Click the refresh button in the sidebar header to manually update all feeds. Some websites limit how often you can fetch their RSS feed, so updates may be delayed. Also ensure the website's RSS feed is still active.

How do I backup my feeds?

Use the "Export OPML" button in the sidebar to download a backup file of all your subscriptions. You can import this file into any RSS reader.

Why can't I add a specific feed?

Some websites block RSS access or have improperly configured feeds. Try pasting the direct RSS/Atom feed URL instead of the website URL. You can usually find feed URLs by looking for the RSS icon on the website or checking their footer.

Is my data really private?

Yes. Your subscriptions and reading history are stored only in your browser's local database (IndexedDB). We use a serverless proxy solely to fetch feed content (required due to browser CORS restrictions), but this proxy doesn't log or store any data.
